Our local cake boss was wonderful! My mother and I went and met with him. He showed us a ton of pictures of his own work. We also were able to bring home a baby cake so that I could let everyone try. We are having a butter cream icing which was extremely yummy. No special filling though. Our cake is also not crazy it is simple and yet enjoyable.
As for our theme for the cake it goes well with the rest of the decor. We are bringing our own cake stand in which replicates the stands for the center pieces. We also are incorporating other parts of our center pieces onto the cake itself.
